Sayanya Press

Sayana Press is a Long-Acting Reversible Contraceptive (LARC) injection that gives you 13 weeks of effective contraception. During the COVID-19 pandemic we are switching patients currently receiving the Depo-Provera to an alternative contraception method such as Sayana Press in an aim to reduce footfall within the building and to support those patients that are self isolating.

If your GP/Nurse has discussed this swap with you then please find below further information on Sayana Press to enable you to make an informed decision as to whether this is the right option for you.

NHS Breast Screening

🌸

The NHS offers screening to save lives from breast cancer. Screening does this by finding breast cancers at an early stage when they are too small to see or feel. Screening does not prevent you from getting breast cancer.

All women aged 50 up to their 71st birthday are invited for breast screening every 3 years.

Your breasts may change between screening appointments so it is important to check your breasts regularly to know what is normal for you. Please contact the surgery if you have any concerns.
